SAG once again receives the "Innovativ durch Forschung" (innovation through research) seal of approval

Having been awarded the "Innovativ durch Forschung" seal by the Stifteverband both in 2014 and 2018, SAG received the award again this year for its research activities.

Since 2014, the Stifteverband has been awarding the seal to companies that assume special responsibility for the state and society through their research work.

Germany has around 3.5 companies, of which fewer than one percent are actively involved in research – making this an extremely important group. Because according the Stifteverband's motto, the only way to discover new things and thus generate innovation and growth is by engaging in research.

The "Innovation through research" seal of the Stifteverband Deutsche Wissenschaft

The Stifteverband Deutsche Wissenschaft is one of the largest private associations in Germany to promote science. Besides its commitment to the development of young academic talent, excellent universities and top research, it also has the task of examining and evaluating the German research and innovation system. How much does the economic sector invest in research and development in Germany? How does this impact on the country's future viability? These are the central questions in the R&D survey conducted annually by the Stifteverband as part of its science statistics (Wissenschaftsstatistik) on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, and based on which the seal of approval is awarded.
