SUP automatic rental station with SAFE-O-TRONIC® access
Until very recently, barely anyone knew what the acronym 'SUP' meant. Today, however, Stand Up Paddling has become an increasingly popular sporting trend. This is why the first automatic SUP stations were unveiled in Switzerland by SUPKultur GmbH - equipped with SAFE-O-TRONIC® access locker systems.
As of this summer, visitors of beautiful Lake Zurich have access to SUP Boards for all levels of proficiency, including high-quality paddles. This makes for a perfect starting point for anyone who is interested in this sport, but who doesn't yet have his or her own board. Beginners and advanced paddlers are equally welcome – there is a suitable board for everyone.
For the first time in Switzerland – the Stand Up Paddling machines with SAFE-O-TRONIC® access
Renting equipment is incredibly easy and requires no staff. The rental machine features a touch panel to guide the guest through the rental process. Users are first presented with an overview of available boards. If the desired device is already taken, the screen shows when it will be available again. Afterwards, the user specifies the rental duration (generally 1 hour) and inserts their credit card in the terminal. Depending on the type of board, one hour of rental costs between 25 and 45 Euro, including the paddle.
The booking is completed using the touch screen, and a receipt is produced.
After the sum is successfully transferred, a paper receipt with a confirmation code is printed. The guest then enters this number into the SAFE-O-TRONIC® access LS, which grants him or her access to their board and paddle.
The number on the receipt is entered into the SAFE-O-TRONIC® access LS…
… granting access to the desired board
Quick and unmanned – entering the world of SUP could hardly be a more convenient process.
