Organisational realignment of the Schulte-Schlagbaum Group

Since 1 January 2024, the Schulte-Schlagbaum Group (SAG) has revised its management structure as part of an organisational realignment. Henceforth, Board Member Peter Pongratz and Johannes Weißbach will manage the Group jointly. Johannes Weißbach, a graduate engineer in structural engineering and most recently Managing Director of ZECH Umwelt Holding GmbH and ZECH International Holding GmbH, was a member of the SAG Supervisory Board until the end of 2023. ‘We’re delighted to welcome Mr Weißbach as a new member of the Board of Directors. With his appointment, our group is gaining an experienced manager with extensive expertise. Together with Peter Pongratz, we’ve established a powerful Board of Directors’, emphasises Vaios Kastanis, the Chairman of the SAG Supervisory Board.

Well positioned for the future

In an effort for the group to meet the growing challenges in the target markets even better in the future, the Board of Directors will henceforth be assisted by a four-member Management Board: Nadine Nowacki for ‘Human Resources & Culture’, Sven Gill for ‘Finance & Administration’, Thomas Golatta for ‘Digitalisation & Products’ and Marc Ströter for ‘Sales & Marketing’. The Group was also able to win back people for strategically important positions in the individual companies and reinforce them at an operational level with competent specialists. Together, they are expected to make a significant contribution to the future-oriented realignment.

The goal of the realigned corporate structure is now to actively pursue a stronger digital focus and take the entire Schulte-Schlagbaum Group to the next level. Together with the continued commitment of the employees at all locations, these changes are expected to set the course for a sustainably successful future.
