Active encouragement for hotel and restaurant solutions of the Schulte-Schlagbaum Group at Intergastra 2016
The two-booth concept of the SAG and its subsidiaries novacom and EDV-Service Schaupp was a complete success, as the number of visitors clearly proves: Compared to the last appearance, almost twice as many trade fair visitors were interested in the solutions this year under the motto "Guest management 4.0 – We organise access and billing"!
In hall 6, SAG presented organisational solutions for hotel locking systems and mobile check-in. Innovative guest management solutions for restaurants and caterers were presented at the stand of the subsidiaries novacom and EDV-Service Schaupp in hall 5.

The SAFE-O-TRONIC access hotel locking system
At the centre of the SAG trade fair presence was the SAFE-O-TRONIC® access hotel locking system. Whether in a 5-star hotel or in a low budget hotels, SAFE-O-TRONIC® access can be expanded in its modular design and can be customised to the size and model of the respective object.
The systems can be individually tailored to the scope of services according to requirements of the operator or the needs of the guests. The SAFE-O-TRONIC® access covers virtually all needs comprehensively, from the simple locking system organisation to the complex access solutions in large hotel chains. A particularly interesting feature is the unmanned check-in. The SAFE-O-TRONIC® access fittings and terminals allow access by entering a PIN code, which the guests are sent, for example on their smartphones, which is ideal when travelling.
Machine-assisted check-in – With SAFE-O-TRONIC® access, it is now possible to enter a hotel and the guest rooms entirely without personnel
Alternatively, the guest has the possibility to use a machine-assisted check-in, which can be easily integrated into the SAFE-O-TRONIC® access system landscape. This solution is, for example, ideal for low budget hotels that do without a traditional reception desk. The guest can check in at the machine, pay and receive a printed receipt of the check-in. Optionally, a PIN code or an RFID data carrier can be issued. Both are compatible with SAFE-O-TRONIC® access fittings and thus can be admitted. At the main entrances, the access can be organised via the new SAFE-O-TRONIC® access TS terminal. This also optionally allows for the identification via RFID data carrier or a PIN code.
Joaquin Borge Sanchez, head of locking systems for doors and furniture at SAG, concludes: "We are very satisfied with the visitor quality and quantity at Intergastra. This year, we were able to nearly double the number of visitors for SAG with our holistic approach to the entire range of mobile access solutions".

The trade fair stand of the SAG subsidiaries novacom and EDV-Service Schaupp was also very popular with its gastronomic and community catering solutions.
Under the motto "From gastronomy – for gastronomy", novacom software gmbh presented its system solution NovaTouch®.
NovaTouch® is the ideal software for checkout and inventory management – from upscale dining to the leisure scene gastronomy to restaurant chains. With features, such as branch management, an allergen information system and various solutions for mobile order registration and cashless payment, this secured the interest of gastronomy professionals.
