Amok prevention and emergency exit security
The SAG Classroom door lock is a central control for classroom doors as part of hazard prevention. It is equipped with an integrated mechanical access control and is certified and tested for 1-leaf emergency exit locks in accordance with DIN EN 179. The classroom door locks are fitted with whisper-comfort noise insulation as standard and are also available with a special cuff length for a 4-way screw connection. For fire doors, an externally monitored version of the lock is available with building inspection approval.
In addition to other panic-door closures in line with DIN EN 1125, SAG provides an emergency exit lock for full-leaf emergency doors, in accordance with DIN EN 179, which contains a special automated locking mechanism. This closure is suitable for doors which have to remain permanently closed for security reasons and which are only opened from the outside using the relevant locking medium. The door can be opened from the inside at any time by pressing the handle, even when bolted. The lock types #18355EV and 18357EV are suitable for 1-leaf fire doors.
